Domestic shipping (UK)

We offer complimentary next working day delivery across the UK via Royal Mail Express. Orders placed before 12pm GMT are dispatched the same day.

Please note: While most UK orders placed before 12pm arrive the next day, this is not guaranteed as we work with third-party couriers.

International shipping

We ship worldwide via DHL Express, with international delivery included in every order. Orders placed before 12pm GMT are typically dispatched the same working day.

Import taxes & duties

For countries we have selected, the price you see at checkout is the final price you pay.

When shipping to these geographies, there will be no additional duties, delays, or charges upon delivery. All import taxes are pre-paid by Ratsey & Lapthorn before dispatch.

What if my country isn’t on the list?

Don’t worry — we can still ship to you. Simply email us at info@ratseyandlapthorn.com with the product(s) you’re interested in, and we’ll get back to you with a quote within one working day. Wherever possible, we aim to offer the option to pre-pay any applicable import taxes, so your shipment arrives at your door without delay.

Returns & exchanges

At Ratsey & Lapthorn, every product is crafted to endure. We encourage thoughtful purchases—but should you need to return or exchange an item, we’ve outlined our policy as follows.

Return & exchange eligibility

• Timeframe: You may return or exchange items within 30 days of delivery.
• Condition: Items must be unused, with all tags intact. We reserve the right to refuse returns with signs of wear or handling damage.
• Exclusions: o Non-returnable: Personalised items o Gifts: Eligible for exchange only, not refunds o Knot charms: Must be returned with bags unless otherwise stated
• Packaging: Please return items in original dust bags and boxes, where possible.

Initiating a return

To initiate a return, please email with:

• Order number
• Product name(s)
• Reason for return
• Supporting images (if item is damaged)

Our team will assess and respond within 2–3 business days.

We may ask that you ship the item back via a tracked service.

Refunds

• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 15 business days of receiving the item.
• Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

Exchanges

• We accept exchanges for the same item in a different colour or for another item of equal or greater value (price difference applicable).
• For exchanges involving a price difference, we’ll share a secure payment link or issue store credit.

International orders

• International returns follow the same policy.

Faulty or incorrect items

Though rare, if your item is faulty:

• Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description.
• We will offer a repair, exchange, or full refund based on the issue.
• Our “Care for Life” repair promise covers most manufacturing faults after the return window closes.
